1.Singer Natalia Kills and husband Willy Moon fired from ‘XFactor:New Zealand’…

You guys may have heard this story already, but for those who haven’t…wow. Over the weekend, not quite relevant singer Natalia Kills and husband of ten months, singer Willy Moon, were fired from their X Factor NZ judging chairs after they ripped apart aspiring singer Joe Irvine following his performance. For some reason, Kills thought Irvine looked just like her husband, claiming he had no originality, using words like “cheesy,” “disgusted,” and “I’m embarrassed to be sitting here right now.” Moon also chimed in, claiming that Irvine resembled “Norman Bates dressing up in his mother’s clothing.” After the debacle, not only were the pair booted from the panel, but they were also torn apart by pretty much everyone across the music globe, including fellow judge Melanie Blatt, who called Ms. Kills a “twat.” Couldn’t have said it better myself. Now, apparently the disgraced duo have left New Zealand after the backlash. On a sidenote…I’m all about constructive criticism, but taking someone down so harshly after a performance is completely unacceptable. Congratulations Ms. Kills, you just ruined your career. And Willy Moon? I’m sorry, but who?

2. Meghan Trainor announces ‘MTrain’ tour and drops clip for “Dear Future Husband.”

Although the 21-year-old singer is just about to wrap up up her ‘That Bass’ tour (you guys can check out my Philly review right here), she just announced she is going on…another tour! The aptly titled, ‘MTrain Tour’ will kick off this summer in AC July 3rd and is set to hit Philly on August 5th. If that’s not enough Meghan Trainor news for you, the young starlet just dropped the video for “Dear Future Husband,” the third single from her acclaimed ‘Title’ album. In the cheeky clip, we see Meghan bopping around with her backup dancers while auditioning potential suitors. Does she finally find the right one? You just have to get lost in the clip below to find out.

3.Famed playwright Stephen Sondheim was NOT happy with Lady Gaga’s Oscar performance last month…

While we were all about Lady Gaga’s ‘The Sound of Music’ tribute at the Oscars last month, there was one person who wasn’t pleased…legendary playwright, Stephen Sondheim. In a recent interview with The Times of London, Mr. Sondheim went on to say that her performance was a “travesty” and that “It was ridiculous, as it would be from any singer who treats that music in semi-operatic style. She had no relationship to what she was singing. What people liked was her versatility.” Ouch!

4. Rihanna spills some music tea on new album…

In an exclusive interview with, RiRi dished on her upcoming new set. While her long awaited eighth studio album has no title yet, she told MTV that the album would be “timeless,” also going on to say, “I’ve made a lot of songs that are just really, really big songs.” “And I just wanted to kind of get back to-not that they weren’t real music, but I just wanted to focus on things that felt real, that felt soulful, that felt forever.” If the Kanye/Paul McCartney lead single, “FourFiveSeconds” is any indication, it looks like Ri is trading in the disco ball for a more plucky acoustic laced driven sound. But, I’m sure we can expect one or two delicious bangers, right? We can only hope…

5.Jessica Lange is DONE with ‘American Horror Story’

Sigh….after months of rumors and speculation, Jessica Lange has confirmed that she is indeed leaving ‘American Horror Story.’ “We’ve had a great run. I have absolutely loved doing these four characters, and in all the madness, I loved the actors, writers, Ryan, the whole insanity of it, the stories, shooting here, shooting in New Orleans, everything. To cut to the chase, yes, I’m done,” the diva told the Paleyfest panel. Now that Ms. Lange is done with ‘AHS,’ new cast members have been ushered in for the upcoming AHS:Hotel, including Lady Gaga, Matt Bomer and Cheyenne Jacskson. An ‘AHS’ world without Jessica…whatever will we do? Guess we’ll have to wait until season five kicks off in October to see how it all plays out. Hey, as long as we have THIS ‘AHS:Asylum’ clip of her performing “The Name Game,” I guess this news isn’t all bad, right? Sigh….
