1.MC and Nick Cannon reunite for Easter….

Awwwee…although the romantic (?) involvement of Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey’s relationship may be kaput, the two former music love birds came together over the holiday weekend for their children, four-year old twins, Moroccan and Monroe. Carey shared this precious photo below with Nick and the kids on Instagram, using #DemBabies of course. In other Mariah news, her triumphant ’05 comeback set, ‘The Emancipation of Mimi,’ is about to turn 10 this week, and Philly Mixtape opened up the coveted Mixtape Music Vault and got lost in ALL things ‘Mimi,’ to check it out, all you have to do is go right here.


2.Mumford and Sons announce surprise NYC show…and break the internet…

In a surprise announcement made just this morning, folked-up group, Mumford and Sons, announced a last-minute show at NYC’s Le Poisson Rouge, which by the way, happens to take place tonight. But, if you want tickets, you’re out of luck because when they went on sale at 9 A.M., they immediately sold out, which in turn led the venue’s website to crash. Fans should get excited to hear new tracks from their upcoming ‘Wilder Mind,’ record which is set to hit headphones everywhere on May 4th. 

3.Fox News’ Chris Wallace apologizes to Ms. Kelly Clarkson after harsh comments…

Fox news host Chris Wallace has manned up after making “fat-shaming” comments towards Kelly Clarkson over the weekend. Wallace has taken a huge shade throwing his way after he appeared on ‘The Mike Gallagher Show,’ joining in on the discussion of Clarkon’s post baby body weight. After Wallace made some playful remarks towards Gallagher’s own weight, the convo quickly turned into a diss session towards Kelly when Gallagher stated, “Don’t fat shame me. You do a lot of fat shaming. That’s the phrase now, ‘fat shaming.’ Have you seen Kelly Clarkson? Holy cow, did she blow up.” It was then that Wallace added, “She could stay off the deep dish pizza for a little while.” We all know that Ms. Clarkson is well received by all, so you can imagine the backlash that Mr Wallace faced, which led him to his apology. In an exclusive statement to People magazine, Wallace stated, “I sincerely apologize to Kelly Clarkson for my offensive comment,” adding that he admires her “remarkable talent” and also how that “should have been the focus of any discussion of her.” Why no response has been sent out by Kelly’s camp, let’s just hope that he learned a valuable lesson here…you don’t mess with the first ‘American Idol’ winner….ever…

4.Rihanna drops new soulful new single ‘American Oxygen’…….

While performing at Saturday’s March Madness Music Fest in Indianapolis, our girl RiRi performed her soulful new track, “American Oxygen,” then shortly premiered it on Tidal a few hours later. The bluesy groove is a slowed down number, with lyrics about living the American dream, “Breathe out, breathe in/This American oxygen/Every breath I breathe/Chasing this American Dream/Respect for a nickel and dime/Turn it into an empire.” To check out RiRi’s new track and to see just what’s up with this whole Tidal streaming service that everyone’s buzzing about, go right here
