25 Philly Events Worth Your DNC Entertainment & Beyond

So, anybody hear that the Democratic National Convention is heading to Philly, like, right now?

Of course you have and here we all are getting ready to brace ourselves for the historic event in the making that’s about to take over the City of Brotherly Love. And while there may be little traffic and security headaches and hiccups along the way over the next few days during the convention, Philly looks to be quite bustling with all kinds of entertaining things to do, much more so than when a certain Pope visited last year that caused most of us to flee.

For all of you out there who are more than ready to live and breathe that political entertainment life, there’s lots of things to do including checking out Dilworth Park’s Political Movie Fest, hanging out with Brian Sims at a special Hilary Clinton fundraiser, showing your love to the hilarious BEV to see what kinds of things she has to bitch about this time, and then kick it with Ms. Brittany Lynn as she is all set to take over Tabu Lounge & Sports Bar next week with a handful of entertaining political events that you have to see to believe.

And if that’s not enough local entertainment heat for you (it’s also going to be really, really hot out there, kids), the always on point HoneyTree Evil Eye and Pilar Salt will be taking their Agitated show at Franky Bradley’s to all sorts of truthful political levels.

There’s also a chance for you to win tickets to see the Lady Gaga and Lenny Kravitz starring Camden Rising concert, and it’s all wrapped up in these 25 events that are worth every bit of your local entertainment pleasure.

Ready, set, DNC and beyond.

Sing Your Life Karaoke/All Over Philly Since the DNC rolling into town may be a lot for some of us, why not let it all out alongside Ms. Sara Sherr, Philly’s one-and-only Sing Your Life Karaoke queen, who has a collection of grooves that are guaranteed to make all of your political dreams come true. You can catch her on any one of these nights tending to every single one of your karaoke needs. Monarch Philly/All Summer Long Another fact we must look at besides the convention heading our way is just how unbearably hot it’s going to be over the next week.
