Charlie and the Chocolate Factory  Although this Broadway hit will be ending its smashing two-week Philly run tomorrow, there still might be a few golden tickets left to grab for you and your whole family to experience all of this on stage Roald Dahl magic. So, stock up on those everlasting Gobstoppers and prepare once more to fly with Mr. Wonka and Charlie Bucket (and Grampa, too!) once again, feel that Oompa Love like it never left, or see if you can finally catch that Golden Goose, don’t delay on this one and unwrap those tickets…now!! And don’t forget when it comes to this spectacular show, it’s all about using your pure imagination…go. Through this Sunday/Nov 18th

Matilda:The Musical/Walnut Street Theatre  It’s official…no one in Philly is going to be able to escape the outstanding legacy of Roald Dahl this holiday season…but then again, why would you want to? Yes, another one of the cherished author’s beloved stories has just come to life, this time on the Walnut Street Theatre stage…all the way through January! So, grab the kids (and grandma, too!) and grab your tickets to once again revel in all of the magical shenanigans that lil’ Ms. Matilda and her classmates will be up to…and chances are, you’ll absolutely live for every moment of it. Fly away right here for much more info. Now-Sunday, January 6th

Kimmel Center Already stressing out about what to get your loved ones for the holidays? First of all, calm down…it’s only mid-November! Second, if you really want to ease all tensions, you’ll surprise that special someone with tickets to maybe George Balanchine’s The Nutcracker, Philly Pops, Manheim Steamroller, Philadelphia Orchestra, Beautiful:The Carole King Musical, and Napolean Dynamite(!!), all of which are headed to the Kimmel Center and Academy of Music very, very soon. You see, what it all really comes down to this time of year is..get those tickets. Go right here for yours..now.

Bob Dylan/Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City Although the weather outside may still be a tad bit frightful, that certainly shouldn’t stop you from grabbing whatever tickets are left to see this living legend take a hold of the Jersey Shore tonight. Meaning…go.   (10 pm)

DJ Chris Urban   Whether at L’Etage (10 pm) for your dancin’ needs tonight or at Positano Coast (12pm-4 pm) for your brunchin’ needs tomorrow, there’s never a bad time to show your Brotherly and Sisterly love to one of Philly’s most solid (and hard werking!) DJs.

9th Annual Philly Beauty Ball  Drag queens and wigs (and more wigs!) and helping out the kids and kweens of tomorrow….oh, yaaaas. The Gayborhood event you’ve been waiting for all year long is back for one night only, and it’s only taking place at Voyeur, gurl. So, bring your Masc4Masc selves (and everyone!) on over as your hostess, Ms. Bev, and your DJ, Mr. Carl Michaels, will be supplying everything you need to fiercely bring out your inner drag diva like you’re Mallory from AHS:Apolocalypse. Yes, it’s that serious….especially when your $10 admission goes directly to helping the most fabulous Attic Youth Center! One last sip, drag is encouraged, but not required, but if you feel like it’s time to get all painted up…do it! (7 pm-11pm)

Sunday Tea:Philly’s Queer Day Party/The Midtown  Now, what’s a Sunday Funday without lots of fabulous day dancing? Just not worthy. So, tomorrow, grab the kids and the kweens and sashay over to The Midtown (formerly Pennsylvania 6 Philly) for a day par-tay that’s truly like no other in Philly! With two gigantic floors, music provided by DJs Dior & Deluxx, 1/2 price bottles of champagne all damn day and nothing but rainbow-colored vibes…what more could you ask for? No, no, don’t answer…just go and keep on dancin’ like it’s your job. Oh, wait..it is. Sunday/5 pm-9 pm

Show Us Your Tunes!/New Tabu  If you haven’t been down to the “new” Tabu yet (formerly Icandy) this weekend is the perfect time to do so as Philly Drag Mafia goddess, Ms. Brittany Lynn, will be patiently waiting for you as she’s dying to show all of Philly her big ol’…..batch of Broadway flair. So, join her along with a severely talented cast that includes DJ Carl Michaels, Chris Murphy, Crystal Electra, Brittany Marie, Shannon Turner, and everyone’s favorite Stoli birthday boy, Mr. Billy Cavallo. Ready, set, you betta werk for those jazz hands, gurl. And in case you were wondering, yes, this event’s going to very gaaaaaay. Sunday/9 pm/no cover!

And the moment that all of Philly has been waiting for…….the Christmas Village is back!! This year, the beloved city tradition returns to a newly renovated LOVE Park for its 11th season to put us all in the mood for the upcoming delightful madness of the holiday season. Kicking off on Thanksgiving Day (Thursday, November 22, 2018) through Christmas Eve (Monday, December 24, 2018), be on the lookout for all of the usual holiday sights, sounds, creations, treats, and of course, lots of eats! But since none of us can wait all the way until Thursday to check it out, there’s a special preview weekend taking place right now and tomorrow, that, oh, it looks like you’re already there.

Happy holidaze, Philly! Let’s get ready to Christmas Village it up. Go right here for much more Philly holiday tea.….and don’t forget about the ice skating in front of City Hall!!
