Let’s live it up like it’s the last weekend of January, oh, wait, ’tis….go. 

Thweeney Todd/The Flaming Barber of Fleet Street/Franky Bradley’s Just when you thought world ukulele champion and phine Philly entertainer Eric Jaffe couldn’t do it again, he’s about to um, do it again with his oh, so gay and yas-worthy retelling of Stephen Sondheim’s classic musical, Sweeney Todd. And with an all-star cast of stand-out local actors and actresses that includes Brittany Marie, Sapphira Cristal and many, many others, there’s no reason why you should miss out on this about to be extraordinarily fabulous show. Charlotte’s Web/Arden Theatre Company The rumors are true….the Arden’s critically acclaimed production of E.B. White‘s still delightful children’s book has been extended through Sunday, February 3rd! But since we’re already at the end of January, that date will be here soon, so don’t waste any time in you and the whole family grabbing those tickets! Plus, you’ll be able to see what else the Arden has in store for 2019 (Hear about 74 Seconds to Judgement? The Lightning Thief:The Percy Jackson Musical/Merriam Theater Yes, that same box office owning Percy Jackson (you know, Poseidon‘s son, no big deal) has officially taken over Philly and stolen all of our Broadway hearts in what the Hollywood Reporter calls a “winning adaptation” of the 2010 film of the same name. So, bring your Masc4Masc selves (and everyone!) on over as your hostess, Ms. Bev, and your DJ, Mr. Carl Michaels, will be supplying everything you need to fiercely bring out your inner drag diva like you’re Mallory from AHS:Apolocalypse. Yes, it’s that serious….especially when your $10 admission goes directly to helping the most fabulous Attic Youth Center! Sunday Tea:Philly’s Queer Day Party/The Midtown  Now, what’s a Sunday Funday without lots of fabulous day dancing? Just not worthy. So, tomorrow, grab the kids and the kweens and sashay over to The Midtown (formerly Pennsylvania 6 Philly) for a day par-tay that’s truly like no other in Philly! With two gigantic floors, music provided by DJs Dior & Deluxx, 1/2 price bottles of champagne all damn day and nothing but rainbow-colored vibes…what more could you ask for? No, no, don’t answer…just go and keep on dancin’ like it’s your job. Oh, wait..it is. Sunday/5 pm-9 pm

Show Us Your Tunes!/New Tabu  If you haven’t been down to the “new” Tabu yet (formerly Icandy) this weekend is the perfect time to do so as Philly Drag Mafia goddess, Ms. Brittany Lynn, will be patiently waiting for you as she’s dying to show all of Philly her big ol’…..batch of Broadway flair. So, join her along with a severely talented cast that includes DJ Carl Michaels, Chris Murphy, Crystal Electra, Brittany Marie, Shannon Turner, and everyone’s favorite Stoli birthday boy, Mr. Billy Cavallo. Ready, set, you betta werk for those jazz hands, gurl. And in case you were wondering, yes, this event’s going to very gaaaaaay. Sunday/9 pm/no cover! 

And the moment that all of Philly has been waiting for…….the Christmas Village is back!! This year, the beloved city tradition returns to a newly renovated LOVE Park for its 11th season to put us all in the mood for the upcoming delightful madness of the holiday season. Kicking off on Thanksgiving Day (Thursday, November 22, 2018) through Christmas Eve (Monday, December 24, 2018), be on the lookout for all of the usual holiday sights, sounds, creations, treats, and of course, lots of eats! But since none of us can wait all the way until Thursday to check it out, there’s a special preview weekend taking place right now and tomorrow, that, oh, it looks like you’re already there.
