So, who’s ready for a big ol’ lovefest?

Tonight, every single one of your favorite rainbow smooched bars in the Gayborhood–Tabu, Knock, Valanni, ICandy, Woody’s, Tavern on Camac, Boxers, UBar, Bike Stop, Voyeur, as well our friends from a few blocks away, Charlie Was a Sinner, Bob & Barbara’s & Stir–are ALL coming together for Philly4Pulse, an already landmark fundraiser for our community that will be a one night only massive event to raise funds for Equality Florida as we remember our 49 brothers and sisters we lost at Pulse Nightclub in Orlando on June 12th, 2016.

Starting at 7 pm, you’ll be able to mingle with many, many celebrity guest bartenders from City and State government offices who will be showing their love all up in the Skittles-hued hood and beyond, including Rue Landau, Councilman Squilla, Councilwoman Gym, Congressman Brady, Captain Jack Ryan of the 6th District, Senator Farnese, and Officers from GOAL.

Also in the fabulous mix will be PGN Editor Mark Segal, Fox 29’s Mike Jerrick and Alex Holley, Philadelphia Mayor Jim Kenney, everyone’s favorite Pennsylvania State Representative Brian Sims, Philadelphia’s Director of LGBT Affairs Nellie Fitzpatrick and Philadelphia Eagles defensive end Connor Barwin will also be on hand to lend his magnificent prowess in this incredible event that will certainly be one to remember.

There will also plenty of Florida love on deck for tonight’s fabulous festivities, including the wonderful Ms. Nadine Smith, executive director of Equality Florida who will be flying up where to show her love to the William Way LGBT Community Center (who will be hosting a wonderful sober party) where she will be presented with raised funds from the event.

And just down 12th street, ICandy will be showing plenty of Pulse love (and hosting the event’s only 18 & over dance party) when they  bring in Brian Reagan and Lance Keller, two former employees of Pulse Night Club who will be pouring their hearts out just for you. So, stop in and say hi.

However, since there’s no greater power than the power of live entertainment to truly get our message across, let’s spill about the tremendous local entertainment artists who’ve donated their time and their tips to put on quite a few shows tonight that will make us feel all of the god damn love in the world.

Along tonight’s oh so gaaay and fabulous way, you will get to see Pissi Myles, BEV, Sutton Fearce and many, many more fierce drag queens take over the Voyeur stage with a dazzling drag show. Valanni’s Michael Duffy (by the way, you should totally catch him on PHL 17 news chatting about the event right here) Noel Zayas, Madison Kennedy Matthews and DJ Sharyn Stone will also be hosting the cabaret kissed and fashion forward, ArtPop4Pulse.

The oh, so delicious HoneyTree Eye will be serving it all up with a sexy femme queer burlesque show at Tabu, and right across the way, Woody’s will be serving up a red-hot Latin flavored dance party while Franky Bradley’s stunning drag troupe Franky’s Foxes–Omyra Lynn, Iris Spectre, Maria Top Catt, Zsa Zsa St. James, Ann Artist, Lady Poison and Ms. Karma–will be whipping up something very special along with DJ Chris Urban and the wonderful Nicole Fatima that will make all of your love-filled evening dreams come true and then some.

And if that’s not enough local entertainment love for you, it was just announced that Boxers will be holding a sexy bachelor auction hosted by Alexander Kacala featuring a buffet of fine Gayborhood gentlemen, one of whom might be your next summer romance. Guess you’ll never know unless you go show your love, right?

For much, much, more on this truly incredible Philly event–including how you can get your official Philly4Pulse T-shirt and $10 wristbands that grant you access to…everything–get your rainbow on right here and check out this incredible guide by Brandon Baker of PhillyVoice, which has everything you need to know about tonight’s smooch fest.

But perhaps the best part of tonight’s event is that it’s all about love… let’s keep it that way and come together as one so we never forget what we’re all fighting for…finding a solution to the all of the hate and answers to all of our questions in this god damn crazy world we Iive in. So, let’s fucking do it.

Now, dance and….love.
