You know, there are many reasons why I love Pink. For one, I love her I-don’t-give-a-fuck attitude, and two, I love that she’s truly one-of-a-kind when it comes to her creative craft. I’m sure you guys all remember her 2010 Grammy performance of her heart wrenching ballad, “Glitter in the Air?” For those of you that don’t, we’re going to dive into it in a special segment called “Grammy Performance of the Day,” and relive this truly incredible Grammy moment.
Words cannot truly describe Pink’s incredible performance that night. As the shattering song started, we saw her looking fabulous, strolling down the stage and into the aisle wearing a sheer white number…but, then….wait..is she really going to?? Omg, yas. About two minutes into “Glitter,” Pink dropped her robe to reveal a skin tight body suit as she jumped into an aerial swing, going on to deliver the performance waaay above the Staples Center clouds. However, the best part of this showstopping number is that after dipping herself in water mid-way through, she transformed into a human sprinkler, dropping Aquafina on everyone in attendance that night. Needless to say, there wasn’t a dry, um, person in the house as Pink truly delivered an eye-popping Grammy spectacle that no one will ever forget. I’ve posted the mind numbing number below, and keep in mind, each day this week we will be delivering a memorable Grammy moment, and we have plenty more amazing performances like this one that are lined up for you guys. Dive in and relive the music magic that was Pink’s 2010 Grammy performance of “Glitter in the Air.”
