Kelly Clarkson Thinks She Has the Plague

Seriously guys, she thinks she really does. In a recent interview with BBC Radio 1, the “Heartbeat Song” chanteuse went on to reveal her frustrations on how no one wanted to work with her on her upcoming set, ‘Piece by Piece.’ In the interview, Ms. Kelly stated, “I honestly would collaborate with a lot of people, but everyone usually says no. I’m not kidding you. I have legitimately asked several people that I’m not going to call out, and that’s cool, but I don’t know.” Clarkson continued to tell host Nick Grimshaw, “I ask good people, I don’t want to sing with crap people, so I mean, I ask people who are great vocalists, but I’m not going to point out anyone. I have asked several people…Sometimes I feel like I have the plague, or leprosy, they’re like, ‘If you get too close…’I don’t know.’

However, not to worry, the first American Idol winner did get a major talent to sing with her on her upcoming record-baby makin’ crooner, John Legend. About the superstar pairing, Ms. Kel said, “I got John Legend to say yes, and he’s cool. I can get country artists (hey, Reba!) to sing with me and John Legend! He’s super credible and talented. I feel very good about myself with that one.” Don’t worry though guys, the working momma-of -one isn’t taking these snubs to heart, stating, “I feel like I’m a very nice person that you might want to sing with me.” I know I would, wouldn’t you guys?
