1.Is Lady Gaga getting ready to ride Barbra’s Gypsy train?
As if the Lady Gaga hype tornado wasn’t already sweeping us in with her upcoming debut on AHS this Wednesday night, now there’s rumors that Mother Monster will be taking on another big acting role by starring in a rewerk of Barbra Streisand‘s Gypsy.
According to John Travolta, who has long wanted (who knew?) to direct a movie version of Gypsy, he wants Ms. Gaga to be in all up in it.”Barbra [has been] wanting to do Gypsy for years, and she’s been developing it, and I think she always visualized Gaga as Louise and maybe me as Herbie.” Travolta spilled to Extra.
While this is news in its very earliest stages, it’s exciting for long time Mother fans and would make a fabulous addition to Gaga’s big music comeback train that just can’t stop rolling these days.
2.Just how did Donald Trump feel about SNL weekend?
This past weekend, Saturday Night Live kicked off its 41st season with host and musical guest, Miley Cyrus, and you can bet the long running comedy/music T.V. staple didn’t waste any time in taking on “The Donald.”
But the real water cooler moment from this weekend’s premiere (sorry, Miley Cyrus & Her Outfits), was when Ms. Hillary Clinton herself showed up in the hilarious “Hillary Clinton Bar Talk” sketch, where Kate’s McKinnon’s (don’t ever leave) version of Hillary is trying to chill at a bar, where she’s served by bartender Val — the real Hillary. The two gals spill tea on politics and their inner-most thoughts, as well as throwing shade at some bully named Donald.
If you haven’t seen this now infamous sketch, it’s a must watch for your Monday.
And Just how did Mr. Trump feel about all of this? The Republican presidential frontrunner got down with Killam’s portrayal and, naturally, used it as an opportunity to do some Hillary Clinton bashing, tweeting,

And finally, Hillary tweeted her approval for Kate McKinnon’s impression, all meaning it’s going to be quite a fun season on SNL this year.

3.Your 2015 jingle ball lineup is….
Just what would the holidays be without all of the Jingle Ball music madness? Nothing.
With the 2015 holiday season vastly approaching, the time is now to get excited about Los Angeles’ KIIS FM incredible lineup for their annual Jingle Ball concert.
Included on the festive list this year are headliners One Direction, as well as The Weeknd, Selena Gomez, 5 Seconds of Summer, Zedd and Ellie Goulding. Also on the rousing roster are newcomers Shawn Mendes, Tove Lo, Charlie Puth, Hailee Steinfeld and Joe Jonas’ latest musical venture, DNCE.
The show will hit the Staples Center on Dec. 4 at 7:30 p.m. and tickets go on sale Oct. 12 at 10 a.m., but Capitol One cardholders can exclusively snatch tickets starting tomorrow at 10 a.m with $1 from each ticket going to the Ryan Seacrest Foundation.
Jingle all the way.
4.50 Cent thinks what is the reason for Empire’s ratings drop??
By now, we know that 50 Cent isn’t a fan of Lee Daniels’ Empire since he thinks the hit show already bares striking resemblance to Power, the Starz series he executive produces.
Now, after Empire had 16 million viewers during its premiere, but dropped to 13.7 million viewers with this week;s episode, 50 has now used the illicit drop as the perfect opportunity to gloat..and then some.
“EMPIRES TV RATINGS TOOK A HUGE HIT. Ok I’ll stop now. COOKIE CALL ME BABY. I’ll tell every body to watch the show for you. LOL,” 50 posted on Instagram, a post that was eventually deleted.
The photo 50 shared and commented on came from another Instagram account belonging to Industryonblast_, and it noted that Empire’s ratings drop could possibly because of all of the “gay stuff.” WTF?
“There are 3 million less viewers who tuned into last night’s Empire episode!!!! did you watch it?” the post said. “We could not take the extra gay stuff or celebrity stuff last night!!!!”
While we can only hope that Empire’s ratings don’t continue to drop, the show certainly gets more buzz than anything that 50 is doing these days-including Power. Meaning…have a row of seats, Mr. Cent.
5.Miley Cyrus has picked Philly as one of six cities to show off her Dead Petz…
How about a little Miley (and her Dead Petz, too) in your Christmas stocking this year?
Hot off the music press, Miley Cyrus & Her Dead Petz (aka The Flaming Lips), have served us with exclusive details behind their special limited-run club tour. The band will hit the road starting Nov. 19, 2015 in Chicago for one of six stops that will also include visits to New York City, Washington DC, Detroit, Boston and, lucky us, Philadelphia.
Back in August directly right after her VMA hosting duties, Miley released her new record for free. The album received rave reviews with Entertainment Weekly saying that “it’s a distillation of an artist’s soul that is both rare and wonderful.” This news couldn’t come at a better time, with Ms. Miley hot off her hosting stint of this past weekends SNL opener, where she performed two tracks from the set-“Karen Don’t Be Sad” and “Twinkle Song,” the latter of which our girl delivered a performance that will hit your music soul in the right spot on a Monday.
