1.Adele is returning to Joe’s Pub…
Although the days when Adele was only a semi-known powerhouse seem a million miles away at this point, there was a time that the diva went on a small U.S. concert trek, An Evening With Adele, that included stops at Philly’s World Cafe Live! and an intimate New York hotspot called Joe’s Pub, where it all began.
Returning to her performing roots, Adele will drop by the pub tomorrow to coincide with the release of her 25 set. The blessed event will feature a Q&A with the singer hosted by Z100’s Elvis Duran, and Adele will be performing tunes from the album like her comeback single “Hello” and her newly released ballad “When We Were Young,” which she previewed during her 60 Minutes Australia interview.
A must watch if you haven’t gotten lost it yet. We’re all 25 ready.
2.Justin Bieber and James Corden play carpool karaoke…again.
Already proving that they’re Carpool Karaoke besties, Justin Bieber and James Corden are back for another round of behind-the-wheel fun, this time avoiding paparazzi, spilling about tattoos, and of course, signing their hearts out to the Biebs “Never Say Never,” Purpose tracks “Sorry and “What Do You Mean,” and ‘Ironic” by Ms. Alanis which has had quite the comeback lately.
3.Missy Elliot is OWNING the cover of Billboard….
Missy is back. Hard to believe that it’s been a decade since she last served us with The Cookbook, the album that housed us her most recent chart shattering single, “Lose Control.” Now Missy’s rightfully back after a year that included a high-profile Super Bowl halftime appearance, collaborations with Kiesza and Janet, and the just released Dave Meters directed post-futuristic video for her beat heavy new single, “WTF(Where They From’)”

Even better than that, is that Ms. Elliot will be receiving receive the inaugural Innovator award at the 2015 Billboard Women in Music ceremony, which will take place in NYC on Dec 11th. The esteemed honor recognizing music artists whose incredible body of work has consistently broken new ground in pop music–and when it comes to Missy’s memorable collection of grooves, it most certainly has.

With no real explanation given, Mariah Carey just shared a photo of herself draped delicately under the covers, sporting nothing but diamonds while laying alongside a boom mic and a recording crew. “Working from bed,” she wrote cheerfully in the caption. “Sometimes you have to make the voice-over studio come to YOU.”

5.Step away from Adele and let Kelly Clarkson take over your soul for a moment…
After a tough year that’s included battling a tour-ending vocal strain and near-crippling morning sickness, the original American Idol, Ms. Kelly Clarkson is back at it, serving black-and-white realness in the just released video for the title track from her latest album, Piece by Piece.
The delicately shot video features Clarkson singing into the camera about the two most important men in her life — her father, who abandoned Clarkson’s family when she was young, and her husband Brandon Blackstock. The video also features touching images of mothers and daughters, ending on an ever sweet note with Clarkson holding her own adorable baby daughter, River Rose, who gives mommy a teary-eyed surprise at the conclusion.
